  9. country in south-central Asia. It is bordered by Pakistan in the south and east, Iran in the west, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the north, and China in the far northeast. The territories now comprising Afghanistan have been an ancient focal point of the Silk Road and human migration. Archaeologists have found evidence of human habitation from as far back as 50,000 BCE. Urban civilization may have begun in the area as early as 3000 to 2000 BC

  10. Afghanistan has the misfortune of sitting in a strategic position at the crossroads of Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and the Middle East. Despite its mountainous terrain and fiercely independent inhabitants, the country has been invaded time after time throughout its history.

Taking the quiz on Afganistan i thought they were stupid questions to ask becasue i havent done any research on afganistan and i wasnt familiar with any customs of theirs. But by takin the quiz and then takin it again i now knew the answers and i know a little more about some vocabulary of theirs like a Chardi is what women must where from head to toe. and Snow leporads are common in afganistan. To what Renee said about teenagers there making an equivalent to 700 US dollars i think that is crazy and maybe we should all start to work in afganistan to make just as much.
